For all looking at a transmission fluid for said transmission look at Valvoline Extended Protection Automatic Transmission fluid. It states in list MB 236.17 which is the MB 9 speed. MB worked with Jaco on the transmission.

What's wrong with using the fluid the transmission was designed around? Transmission fluid isn't like motor oil. Small differences can make a big difference. Gamble if you wish, but it is a gamble.
Use OEM trans fluid.
30.00 a quart for Nissan and 30.00 a gallon for Valvoline.
I put valvoline extended protection ATF in my kid’s rx350 trans a year ago and it shifts like normal. I know it’s a different trans than yours.
The cost savings are small when compared to new trans. Stick w/ OEM fluid
Nissan Matic-P. Low viscosity ATF. Yes, expensive. So sorry.
