2020 F150 won’t shift from park

You have power coming out of the BCM on the brown/red wire?

The schematic shows fuse 14 connected directly to pin 17 and the brown/red wire. If that circuit is open the BCM must be faulty. And if water got in there are probably other things wrong with it as well.

If there is power from the BCM but it is not reaching the brake pedal then there's a problem with the wire itself or a terminal at either end.
That's why I made the comment that the wiring diagram is wrong possibly. I do have power at the brown red wire at the bcm. But even when i jumped from that wire to the bpp swtich it didn't change anything. The bcm also has a violet/orange wire that goes to the bpp switch and the pcm. It also has nothing.

On a mid 90's F250, there is a nice solenoid that releases the shifter to get out of park. Since I knew a case where it caused a problem like yours. I just pulled out that solenoid and tied it out of the way. As I didn't need that happening ever.

The worse things to deal with on any car or? is safety crap and theft crap. Its all good when it works good, but is a mess when it does not and it seems to fail at the worse times possible.

At least most cars have an over ride of some sort, Ford? Not the one I mentioned.

OP probably smart enough not to want to drive the truck like it is since the brake lights don't work either, and that's really dangerous on the road.

Yeah, I won’t be driving it until it’s right. I can activate the interlock with the scan tool so I can move the truck if I need to but besides that it won’t be on the road until it’s fixed. I ordered a BCM everything seems to point to that. I sure hope I’m right!

Pretty sure the connector view is correct, My diagrams do not show the Violent/Orange (Ground side switched) BPS circuit connected to the BCM.....Only the the PCM.

The Violent/White (Positive side switched) BPP circuit is wired to both the BCM & PCM.
