Oh yeah. The engg manager of that should have been completely retarded to even design that ugly piece ofshit.
There is a reason why GM went belly up - many non-sense vehicles and out of control engg managers.
Side profile one of the best Toyotas in years IMO. Front is much improved over recent Toy styling ugliness but takes after all the makes cited in above posts. Big improvement!
There is a common trend with these new models that I see. One is the slimmer headlamps like the cats eye we see now. Second is the getting away from the gaping holes for fog lights when installed. The automakers are leaning towards more discreet installations. Inside the center console with side trim seems to be common and the dash mounted Audi like nav screen is seen in more and more cars. It frees up the dash below for better placement of the climate controls and such.
I didn’t get too deep into the reviews but I expect more and more cars to offer HUDs with their premium trim levels. This is one feature that I really like personally.
One negative is that rear visibility seems to be getting worse as automakers figure drivers will depend on their cameras. While I personally like the rear view camera I still trust but verify by looking around. In a way the camera adds another stop for my eyes as I am backing out checking rear-mirrors-camera etc

Been like that since 2008, Toyota tried pushing run-flats on the RAV4 Sport and I knew someone who wanted to buy one but she wasn't happy at the prospect of $200+ for a tire.
