Interesting thread over at Audizine. I would have to agree, a 10k oci on this engine may be stretching it. Is this engine a GDI as well as turbocharged?

Yes it sure is. The refreshing thing about this analysis is that the oil didn't shear and stayed in grade. The TBN seems very high as well. When you look at the other UOA that were linked in this thread, one still had a TBN of 3.9 at 9,890 miles. The oil should hold up to 10K mile intervals but your right it still doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy about it. If you really want to nerd out about this motor check out this link:
