I bought this car last fall with 91k miles and immediately changed the oil, that is the first sample. I have no idea what oil it was or how long it had been in there (not long judging by TBN and visc), but it most likely was Castrol Edge 10W-60 or Motul 10W-60 with remnants of Ti from a previous Castrol.
This sample is the BMW TPT 10W-60. I used this because FCPEuro has it and I saw a few other VOA/UOA of new bottles that showed good results and a nicer looking additive package with more moly and Ti than the Castrol Edge. This car was driven a bunch in the fall and then stored all winter other than one or two periodic drives when it was clear. This was a cold change as I decided to do it at random while replacing the water pump and cooling system preventatively.
