2017 Tundra; Mobil 1 0w-20 9.7k mi

In my experience with 4 Tundras, Silicon stays relatively high until after the 30K miles mark. This oil started service around the 20K miles mark, so it's right on schedule...It's due to the sealers used internally

Overlooked the 30,000 mi. Given the numbers I would have expected that run started later than the 20,000 mi it did. That explains the lack of any sign of abrasives.

All things considered I don't see how you could expect better. Looks excellent.

What was the oil used previous to this UOA? Was it the Toyota 0W-20?
The factory fill and 2nd was Toyota 0w-20 and is reported to be Mobil 1. The fill between 10k and 20k was Mobil one and was not tested. The test I shared is the first UOA on this truck

That's probably why the moly number was higher than expected from regular M1 0W20. It was residual from the previous fill of Toyota 0W20.

Good results. Nice truck!

Excellent report.

I also enjoyed reading the disbelief that 0w20 could produce such a report. There must be more to the story, right?? 🤪

I would keep running on as you are. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Your uoas were very enlightening and thank you !

Which M1 is it? "Regular" M1 doesn't come in a 0w20. Was it EP, AP, AFE, SUV/Truck? Another?

That report looks great, to me!

I'm assuming it's 'AFE'...which is Mobil's 'regular' 0w20.....and a very good oil, IMO.
I see no need to use their other 0w20's unless you plan on going longer than 10K on the OCI....which I don't.

I just bought 4 more, 6 qt boxes of this oil at Costco. $27/6 qts. I think it’s a great value.
I use it in my wife’s 2016 4 cylinder Camry and my daughters 2010 4 cylinder Camry. Both are on a proven 10k interval. Tested the wife’s using Polaris UOA, but not the daughters car. It was 200k and does not leak or smoke and that’s good enough for a $5k used car. Wife’s 2016 last two UOA had close to 4 TBN and nothing strange or remarkably.

not sure how good this looks at 10k interval
I see some silicone so air filter leaks?
TBN shows some decent life an additive package
8.2 cST shows some shear from VOA 8.7
