FWIW, sonofjoe, a poster on bitog once in a while, an ex-oil-formulator guy, did say low NOACK does help prevent ringlands from gumming up (black piston areas). I did notice Ravenol publishes NOACK numbers for most of their oils, and they are generally extremely good compared to most other oils. There are some clues Ravenol might be super quality stuff.

Black Stone saying aluminum is high and saying go further? wow. Cool report, if it were my car, I would dial back the interval a bit and not bother with anymore UOA.

Aluminum was not high, the oil was in there for over 13k, and it tracked Universal Average per mile very closely. Not a problem. Aluminum normal, iron below average, all good.

Oil_film_movies, I do agree with you that all metals ppm tracked well for the amount of miles the oil had gone. I have seen the common off the shelf oils with their UOA postings.

I know initially, taking an OCI this long goes against the grain, however with the technologies evolving within oil formulation to meet up with the newer tighter engine designs, thought it would be apropos to try these, largely because they are made abroad.

Additionally they seem to demand more performance from their oils, so it seemed fitting to test these oils on this side of the fence to see how they fair under the demands placed on them here.
