5.6 liter base 2wd.This engine has a wide torque curve,7 speed auto with a crew cab and 5.5 foot bed.averaging 19 mpg mostly highway. The ride is very tight,not as smooth in the rear as my Expedition yet very predictable.handling is predictable,steering feel is a little slower than I expect.It definitely doesn't feel twitchy at all.The transmission has a manual mode yet I haven't felt the need to use it yet.The brakes are 14 inch rotors in the front and stop this 5500lb vehicle impressively.i think we are going to be happy with the Nissan provided reliability is good.The vehicle has a 5 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty I hope is not needed.;

I've seen a few around here, good looking trucks. Fuel mileage seems decent as well at 19 mpg.

How are the seats and dash layout?

No compass I can see.speedo.tach analog.digital reminders for servicing in between Speedo and tach.column shift only.seats are comfy on a 12 hour drive.material iffy if it holds up.covers will be ordered.has a folding arm rest in between front seats that holds tons of stuff.lots of plastic but very utilitarian.this thing grows on you.the engine is a torque beast.

Sounds pretty good to me! If the seats are good for 12 hours, they must be designed well.

I like that it still has the column shifter. Many new full size trucks no longer have them.

wife's cruiser as we couldn't afford a new expedition.Wanted a Ford crew with a 5.0 but I would bet this is easily a match for it,plus it is cheaper by several thousand dollars.By the way,very roomy back seat area.

That V8 is a reworked improved version of the last gen 5.6 V8 in the Titan there are several guys on Nissan forums with over 500,000 miles on them without issue it is a real solid V8 one of the best out there.

Also thought I would mention the frame in that truck is real solid Nissan built it extra strong I recall reading about the trucks design and build several years ago when under development. I drove several about a month ago at a local dealer nice truck!
