Going too replace the thermostat I'm looking at Mahle brand which is about half the price of OEM .

I couldn’t get a Mahle or an OEM back in November. Used a Gates from RA.

OE only on 3.6L Pentastar engines.

We used aftermarket for a couple years on our fleet (ram promasters with 3.6). They all come back within months pissing coolant out. We used 4 seasons and other plain boxed ones. It happened so frequently that we thought the crossover pipe that the thermostat mounts to was cracked. No evidence of it. We requested oem thermostats and magically no more leaks.

Seriously, the OE/OEM thermostat is the first parts-lesson one learns.

I looking at OEM on Amazon but worried about counterfeit is there any stampings that identify OEM ?

I believe Mahle makes the OE stat for Mopar?
