LOL. They have the lowest profit margin and the highest incentives of all manufacturers. Their CEO is the only one in the industry wanting to "consolidate" and can't find a taker.

They have abysmal quality and have only recently lowered the powertrain warranties from 100k to 60k for the 2016's.

They have pushed back many models that are sorely due for a redesign.

I could sell 1,000,000 widgets but if I only make $1 on each that's not a great way to run a business when everyone else makes $2. And even worse when I start pushing back my new widgets which are key to success.

Depleting cash reserves is hardly making them look good for resale. Their sales make them look good. Having a bunch of newly designed vehicles is 2-3 years will really make them look good (as long as they don't take the Cerebus Chrysler approach and put out old tech vehicles with new skin).

Trying to R&D too many new vehicles at one time, I think that's the problem.

Where are these new vehicles?

They are delaying their top sellers - Ram, Jeeps, etc. You don't do that unless you have serious issues.

Chrysler needs to circle the drain and have someone flush for the last time. We let many, many other brands go in the toilet, who will miss Chrysler?

Late to the game, but we love our Durango thus far. We purchased it in 9/14. We've had 1 unscheduled dealer visit for a minor S/W recall. It's a very comfy highway cruiser. It looks 10x better than Honda's new minivan...err Pilot. The Pilot does put some some impressive acceleration numbers though. I'm very impressed with our MPG -- considering the size and heft (~5000 lbs). My wife averages 19.5 MPG in her daily city commute. In the winter, it drops by 1. On the highway, the best we've done is 23.5. That was driving 82 MPH, and through the Flint Hills of KS. It would easily surpass the 24 MPG rating if one drove 65 on a flat road. It gets better MPG than our past V6 4wd Mariner -- which was 1500 lbs less, and 90 less HP.

There is no better 3-r seater than Durango. I bought a 14 after owning wrangler and Nissan Xterra with body on frame. Drive one and you would be hooked. AS some one mentioned Durango is pretty much a MB ML as far as chassis, suspension and electronics. Engine is a reliable pentastar or Hemi and Transmission is the ZF 8 speed.. MPG is awesome. A trip I made to Virginia from Kentucky (1800 miles) I clocked 28.5 with 4 people and heavy luggage. I like Honda too but it can't compare to Durango imo.
So far it has been 14 months and I have had only one rear shock replaced under warranty due to leaking.

I dont have a new Durango, but purcahsed a 2015 Hemi Overland.

THe WK2 platform rocks! If you want a SUV get the Durango, if you want a "Van" buy the Honda.

I have the QD2, QL and 8spd, getting over 22.5 all around for the first 3400 miles. Build quality is top notch and the Unconnect system blows anything Honda has out of the water.
