I JUST GOT A 2016 TAURUS 11K , 3.5 NON TURBO. HAVE A LARGE STASH OF MOTORCRAFT 5W30 FULL SYN. ANY ISSUES PUTTING THIS OIL IN INSTEAD OF 5W20 ?

Absolutely no problem at all. I run 5w30 in two cars spec'ed for 5w-20. My Mercury Marauder, and my wife's 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. Virtually no difference in fuel mileage and it's my belief you can run XW-30 in practically any stock street car. As a matter of fact, my 1992 Mercury Capri, 2003 Marauder, 2008 Santa Fe, and 1947 Ford Tractor all get the same oil. Valvoline Maxlife Synthetic 5w30. They all run great, don't use oil, and are quiet as a church mouse. That Motorcraft oil will serve you well.

As the Mondeo 2.5 V6 and the early Duratec 3.0, yes. The Cyclone 3.5 is a cousin of the early Mondeo/Duratec, though it now is quite different. All of these engines though, will thrive on 5w30, as the Modular 4.6/5.4 SOHC and DOHC engines do.

The 3.5 duratec calling for 5w20 and the 3.5 ecoboost calling for 5w30 have the exact same oiling systems. They share the exact same crank, rods, oil pump, and clearances. I personally use AMSOIL Signature Series 0w30 in my 2018 Taurus with a 3.5 duratec. 30 grade oil will work great in these engines.
