Me too! The 1.0 EB is spec'd out for 5W20 but because of the inherent dilution and thinning, it seems to work out very well. The only gripe I have seems to be a slight hit in fuel economy
Yes, I will even go to the fairly thick (3.5 HTHSV) 5W-30 Ravenol REP in the summer for my 1.6 EB, since I use a skid plate on my ST, and am worried about high under hood temps, with a somewhat inadequate factory radiator (will eventually get a Mountune or Pro Alloy aftermarket one), thinning out a 0W-20, or 5W-20,
on top of the DI fuel dilution.
I ran 0w40 to pretty good effect in my old Fiesta ST
There are some members on the Fiesta ST Forums (who live in warm/hot climates), who use Castrol 0W-40, or M1 0W-40 all of the time.
