2015 Jeep Patriot c121c torque request denied

I have a 2015 Jeep Patriot 105k miles so like the last 6 months I get this random bucking sensation and random stalling the only code I am seeing is c121c torque request denied and I'm having issues trying to figure out what that even means and how to diagnose it any help would be appreciated

"The C121C is typically set due to a faulty PCM or ABS module. But if you have that other powertrain code I would address that first to see if the C121C returns after fixing the powertrain code."

There is no other codes any idea if I would have to have the ABS module programed if I replace it

Update it was a cheap crankshaft position sensor the garage put in I replaced it with a duralast no issues since
