2014 N20 PCV

It's been a while since I had a BMW (N52). I bought a 14 X3 N20 at 74k last January. I'm at 100k and just bought what I need to do coolant service (hoses, thermo, water pump, exp tank, etc..) and want to do the PCV as well. I'm a basic DIY'er and out of touch with the ways of BMW. I'm finding limited videos of PCV replacement. I'm dating myself but I wish I had a Chilton's to simply flip through.....

Is it as simple as releasing the clips on the circular cap and replacing the spring? Is that's all there is to it?

I think most owner replace cap/diaphragm and spring. The tabs can break on the cap and/or it won't reseal well

I would change the valve cover at this point.
