I have a 2014 Mustang gt, it is a track package spec car and I have always ran the recommended fill of 5w-50. Mainly curious about what weight I should go with now as I've changed the setup on the car to a twin turbo setup. The turbos are ball beating and have an oil restrictor sized at .035". Was wondering if I should change viscosity to aid in flow to the turbos. Was thinking of dialing it back to a 5w-20 or possible even 10w30 oil in a more race oriented blend. I have looked over oil spec for a lot of European cars with overhead cam engines and turbo and they run a large variance in weight so I'm really not sure. Was planning to just go with the 10w-30 unless I have a good reason not to. I live in south Alabama/north florida and we have very few days of the year near or below freezing.
