That would silence the naysayers who's ONLY objective is to BASH this car (and ANYTHING GM does now), and ALWAYS go after it's interior for that end.
Along the same lines; they should also offer a lightweight 'competition' interior sans all of the weighty bells and whistles/doodads/gimmickry, with featherweight, high bolstered seats (maybe even fixed-back shells from Racetech or such), EVERYTHING that touches the driver in alcantara, or real suede (along with the dash cover to kill glare), and just stop short of a factory installed SCCA legal cage/harnesses (but prep everything for this IF the owner wants to install one!).

People have always been a-bashing on the Vette ever since I got my first one in 1978. It is to be expected, it's a very polarizing design. few will go 'meh', most will either love it or despise it.
I think it represents some of the best 'bang for the buck' in automobiles today! Just wait for the new Z06...
