Where can I get a replacement Spyder gear for the 2013 Silverado gu6 rear end

Did you find glitter in the gear oil?

Are you planning to just overhaul the whole thing, with new bearings?

I would say that the spider looks like crap, but, that is not the source of your noise. Spiders can be nasty looking and perform no problem.

Differential worn where the side axle gear rides. That causes the slop-noise and worn gears in diff case. Probably get a complete salvage yard rear end for what it cost to overhaul yours.

That's actually the only gear bad the rest of the parts look brand new I think somebody already been in there and replace the worst of them so what we did is put the one with the bad teeth on the opposite side so when I'm driving forward it's hitting on the opposite side of the teeth

And no there was no Glitter in the oil just a lot slop in the axles and just shimmed them in a little bit and there is no more play now so I just need to figure out where to get that one spider gear

How did you shim them/where did you obtain the shims?

75W90 all around is fine.

I shimmed them where the rear axel gose in the housing and my buddy had a bunch of thin ones and different size ones he had left over from a rebuild he done on his
