I expect that PP can safely do its job reasonably well until the indicated change given by the OLM. It's a good oil for lasting a relatively long time. I guesstimate that the TBN will be between 1 and 1.7. If that makes you uncomfortable, shorten the OCI somewhat. I personally would shorten it due to cleanliness concerns, unless I had reason to alleviate them.

Even 0% should be conservative for the OLM using Dexos1 semi-synthetic. With PP, it should be a breeze.

The higher the miles per % means you were driving less severe. More highway miles or less short trips. Thats a good thing and much easier on the oil. I would not worry and just run it down as low as you can. Take the UOA at 0% and see how it does. If not good then you can just back off a little next time but highly doubt it will not be stellar.

Just an update-- like I suspected- im down to 20% OLM- and have reached 6,045 miles...
I may leave the oil in for 1 more week...
As we may end up driving to Denver, Colorado-- from LA.
Its 1000 miles each way.
which would translate to about 27%.... but since im at 20%---- id rather change before the trip
