Just had a good friend with a very famous racing career who bought a used Modena cheap for exactly the reason given above^^.

The guy was coming up on the 10k mile service which is really expensive and sold the car rather than shell out the dough! I was amazed, but it's not the first time I have seen this happen.

That is why exotics never impressed me. Exotic in design, engineering as well as performance...never mentioned in these circles is maintenance and repair which is always a large part of it's ownership to maintain that special feel. Exotics are really just over-emphasized race cars and demand the same kind of attention to include it's own pit crew. They truly have no place on public roads, the garage queens that they are.

Yeah that's not on common, but how bad could a 10k service on a 360 be? Was it due for timing belts based on age?
