This one's a real head scratcher... When I apply the brakes on the car, the radio display dims. The radio continues to work fine, and the brake lights come on as usual. Any ideas?

Bad ground in the back on one or more of the brake lights. This causes power to back-feed into the tail light circuit when the brake pedal is pressed, and when the tail lights are on the radio dims.
Watch the brake lights for one that is not as bright as the other. Then turn the headlight switch on and check the brake lights again.
