2011 Kia soul a decent car?

I have come across a one owner 2011 Kia soul with around 112k miles. It has the beta ll engine and 4 speed transmission. On paper it has been meticulously maintained. Oil changes every 3 to 6k miles and it has had the transmission fluid changed twice. The timing belt was changed within the last 40k miles.
They are asking 5000$ at a dealership but it is 3 and a half hours away.
Something to consider or not worth it?
Can you drive a stick shift? If you can. I got an even better vehicle just a couple of days ago. It's a 2012 model with only 28,000 mi on it. I'm going to be selling that one for $ $6,990.

My dealership is in the outskirts of Atlanta and I can ship it for about a third of what it would normally cost you. If you're interested, let me know.

Also, the 2010 to 2013 models of the Kia soul are perfectly fine. However, they are very sensitive to a solid oil change regimen and there are several recalls that you should get done at the Kia dealership. Chances are that whatever you get will need them, but they'll be absolutely free.

Unfortunately l did not learn and l am an old dog teaching me tricks at this age is a challenge.

I’ve been looking for a beater since I bought this truck I drive. Seems like if I tell s friend about my beater search they stumble on one for a ridiculously reasonable price.
A car for you or them? That would be my luck. I would tell a friend l was looking and they would decide they want a beater too and find a great one instantly and effortlessly.

You're looking at a very good car at an okay price. But my general rule is to never travel a long distance to a car dealership. A few times I've gotten tons of pics, even did a FaceTime walk-around, and still saw problems when I got there.

Its a great car if you happen to be a hamster.

If it is still there l might make a day of it this weekend and go look at it but 7 hours on the road o_O.
As anybody that has read my posts knows l am on the lookout for a decently maintained reliable beater.
It has been a bigger challenge lately.
Bigger challenge than a one armed window tinter.

Same here since I leased the Mazda I’ll do anything to keep it off the roads and me out of the drivers seat. 🤮
