looks like a pretty good package though! I'm getting more used to the design language, much nicer on the elantra than the current sonata.

You may have the 1.6 ltr.. Are you being impacted by the flooding ?

no - the floods are i Queensland, although the same weather system caused minor flooding here from the 25th to 28th, but nothing serious. Google rockhampton floods

Yeah I had a Getz for two years but had to trade due to having a baby. good little cars, not great on fuel for their size, but well built...

I just tried to make a deal with one of our local hyundai dealerships for one of these. I realize this is a new model but the most they are willing to come off of MSRP is $300. While Hyundai has turned the corner for its exterior styling, it still has something to prove regarding long-term reliability. Only $300..it's not a Lexus for goodness sake. There are better deals elsewhere.

Just checked out the 2011 elantra on the website after seeing an msn.com article about the 12 most beautiful cars in the world and the elantra was one of them. This car is hot! Looks great, 29 mpg in city, 40 in highway is ridiculous. Im looking to take a test drive soon!

Like maybe on a 2010 model if you can live with that. I got a ridiculous deal on my Sonata because the 2011 model came out.

Go to another dealer if possible . The HYUNDAI dealer in our area is giving about $1,600 discount of thier own for 2011s' that are little over $18,000 . Good Luck .

I'm sorry, but that (OP Elantra pics) has to be one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. It can't just be me.
