200K Transition Mobil 1 To Amsoil

But not for much longer intervals with perfectly good engine oil ready for more miles to go. Mobil1 can't and Amsoil can

Sounds like a decent plan but I would second the idea of leaving it in and sampling at 10k miles and see what the report says. If your corolla is indeed spotless inside (including the piston oil return holes) then it would be interesting to see how far you can really go on the Amsoil with sampling.
How often do you usually check oil level?
Since you just put the Amsoil in (sounds like that is what you did based on your post), I would recommend checking the level regularly to see if it takes time to settle out.
keep us posted with the progress.
The oil change and oil sample is due now. Not yet transfered over. I plan to at least go 15k miles on the Signature Series.
I will post the mostly highway Mobil1 EP lab results

Amsoil will be just fine but I agree do a UOA. To assure no coolant leaks or other issues. Maybe look at six month changes as an option.
The car is maintained too to bottom. I was going to go by mileage, maybe 15k miles or so. Should 6 months overrule mileage?

Amsoil is a leader in long interval lubricants.
I do not sell the product, just believe it can surpass most competitive companies
Take it a step further with HPL. I’ve been a Amsoil user since 2004 90% of the time. Furthest I’ve gone was 10K. I don’t try to push the envelope. My wife’s Pilot follows the OLM, 5500-7500 miles and see SS 0W20 till 80K. Now uses 0W30.
