Book says 10W30 to 80F, 20W40 to 104F, 20W50 over 104F. SE, SF, SG, SH, SJ, SL. I assume 10W40 motorcycle oil is just fine for the 20W40 temp range. Likely 15W40 HDEO covers it also.

I've used both 10W-40 marine oil and 15W-40 diesel oil in my 2008's, got 2 of them. The Yamaha motor is pretty bulletproof on anything, and they're still running strong.

I used Rotella 15w40 in my 2008 Suzuki Vstrom for years. It ran like new when I sold it a few years ago.

If you have emissions, you'll do great with the Supertech 25W/40 sold at Walmart.

If you don't have catalysts in your vessel, just use a good 15W/40 like Chevron Delo. The Delo has a stronger additive package than the 25W/40 does.
