I have 1 case of Honda DW-1 fluid, which is enough to do 3 drain and fills each drain and fill should remove about 3.5 quarts of the total 8.3 system capacity.
The transmission was rebuilt in 2016 and has about 45,000mi on the current fluid, you think I should do 4 drain and fills using 2 quart of Eneos eco ATF that I have lying around and 1.5 quarts of DW-1 for the first drain and fill then dw-1 for the remaining 3 DnFs or just do 3 with only the Honda fluid, assuming the fluids all perfectly mix each time, however if I did 3 DnF with only Honda fluid I'd leave about 1.6 quarts of the old Fluid in the transmission. If I do the 4 I'd leave around 9/10 of a quart of the old in there and there would be about 2/3 of a quart of the first fill left in there and about 43% of that would be Honda and 57% would be the enos so that only leaves about 4/10 of a quart of the non-Honda fluid in there which shouldn't dilute the Honda additive too much. Is it worth the extra DnF with the non-Honda fluid to get and extra 2/3 of a quart of the old fluid out.
