Due to our ever-growing family and our good fortune with our first two Nissan's, we added a Nissan Quest to the stable. Let me tell you folks, if you are in need of a people mover (minivan, SUV) now is the best time to shop! The MSRP of our van was 32,800. Their bottom line price they offered was 26,300. They gave us $9500 trade-in (on a Jeep - that was paid off)that only "blue-booked" for $8500. In addition, and as part of the purchasing contract, will install Nissan aftermarket DVD system (valued at $1500) and a trailer hitch.
The van is virtually loaded with an incredible amount of electronics and "power this, power that". In the couple times I have driven it, it seems very comfortable to drive with the engine/transmission working seamlessly. If the center information system, with MPG calculation, is to be believed, it is also fairly fuel efficient.
The only thing that concerns me with the van IS the incredible amount of electronics. From the power windows - front and rear, two power doors, power rear lift gate, back-up camera that gets displayed on the information screen (6"X6") any time the vehicle is in reverse, power seats, etc.,etc.
My wife also checked on a 2008 Grand Caravan with a similar MSRP and couldn't even get past all of the cheap plastics and lousy configuration of the interior to even consider it. I'll keep everyone updated as it grows older.
