2008 Nissan Frontier - 90K Service

It's hard to believe, but I'm getting close to turning 100K on my "new" truck. Up to this point, I've been doing 7.5K OCI's with various flavors of syn (typically what's on sale) and following the owners manual for non-severe service.

At 90K the manual is only recommending a coolant change + oil and air filter. I'll admit I'm a bit twitchy about this and wonder if I should add to the list of fluids. Specifically, differentials, transfer case, AT, and brakes. Brake fluid has never been done, the rest were changed out at 30K.

Thoughs? I know it can't hurt, but I'm also resistant to opening my wallet if I don't need to. I keep all my vehicles to 180-200K, so I don't want to pinch pennies now at the expense of issues later. I used to do a lot of this work myself to keep costs down, but then had kids.....so it will be real $$.

You haven't done all of those mentioned fluids for 60K?

My front diff gets BLACK by 20,000. The transfer case was pretty dirty by 30,000.

I have a 2008 Frontier as well fwiw.

The diff, autoboxes etc fluids on my 08 Pathfinder are still nice and clean and it is now just past 107k.

Going to do a gearbox service at my usual autobox place soon.

I would need to check but I think 40/50k is what Nissan specify for it.

Is it possible that the oil specs are different in US and UK hence my lack of discolouration?

I think Nissan UK specs synthetic fluids in diff etc. Does. Nissan US spec mineral fluids in the diff etc?
