I got my wife the 2008 RWD IS250 back in 2007 for $35k out the door, if it wasn't because she wanted a custom interior / exterior color combo that we have to order, we could've gotten it for $33k out the door.

At 30k there's nothing to do other than needing new front tires that's about $100-150 ea (rear are still good). Oil change every 5k for 6.6 qt (dino, API SL) and the oil filter is shared with Toyota Tundra that Toyota dealer is selling for $5. "Lifetime" ATF (Toyota WS) that is very hard to change, coolant is Toyota pink that will last 100k, spark plugs every 60k for $20 per plug (3 prong ground electrode) the rest is typical for most toyota.
