2007 300C Hemi

I still long for my 08 300. Got my my eyes on a 07 with under117 large. It is in good condition and asking 7500 which I won't give. What should I look out for before I offer.

Broken exhaust manifold studs, your other typical 14 year old vehicle issues like leaks, rust, shoddy repairs from accidents etc.

Front end steering and suspension components don’t last on those. Listen for clunks. if you’re jacking it up, check for torn bushings and loose front end components.

Thanks. I knew about the front suspension I would have it checked before purchase.

So far I've had to replace 5 wiped cams from lifter failure on the 5.7's

I'd stay away

No issues with the bigger Gen3 Hemi's though

My neighbor has a 2006 that he bought to take his girlfriend on a date with . It’s been sitting since then it has I think he said 95 miles on it. It just sits in the street with a cover over it. He tried to get it started a few summers ago and the thing would not fire for nothing. He just gave up and bought an 06 Magnum a couple years ago then just a few weeks ago bought a BMW so now he has 4 cars 2 that runs. He keeps his 300 on the street with his dads 1985 Ford pick up. The county asked him to move them and he threatened them so they stay on the street now.

They were not flexible and although appears to be in good condition, 6 previous owners.

Car may have the 2.7 which are pigs and prone to trouble.
