2006 VW 2.5L engine Temperature

A 2006 VW is 18 years old. Time to replace the water pump IMHO.

I would agree, however only has 147K KMS

Corrosion occurs over time as does gasket degradation, albeit slower. Better to do it when it is easier to get at than have it fail on the highway a year from now.
