Yep, still there! I live about 30mi S.East in ski country, but pizza and wings still abound in all of Western NY.

I had to go back and try to recall what the original question posed by this thread was....
Seriously though, I have no idea of when the OLM monitor will trip for this engine. However I think you'll find the 10k service interval I calculated using my OCI Formula will be an accurate prediction of how long you can safely run the regular Mobil 1 formulation in this engine. If anything it will be a bit conservative, since I scaled the C* values towards that end.
As for the practice of using different oil quality levels as part of an OCI calculation, the BMW and MB, oil life monitors do precisely that. Those are calibrated for fully synthetic oils meeting LL/01 and MB 229.5 performance levels, respectively. In fact, Mercedes ended paying out a fair sum of money due to engine damage caused by folks attempting use their OLM system and run very long service intervals with conventional oils.
I honestly don't see any essentially input values missing from my formula. In fact think it captures the key engine design and operating parameters that most directly influence oil life in various applications.
