2006 Kia Sedona LX - Coolant question...

Hey everyone!

I just recently acquired a 2006 Kia Sedona LX minivan from a good friend of mine. It has the 3.8L V6 and has almost 155,000 miles on it. The radiator has plenty of coolant (green) in it, but the overflow is almost completely dry. I have some Super Tech 50/50 Universal coolant (2 full gallons). I had it on hand for my other vehicle, a 1990 Ford Ranger XLT, that leaked coolant. Can I use safely use the Super Tech or do I need to get a special coolant such as Zerex Asian or something similar?

I had a 2008 Sedona for a long time, just sold it. I either used Zerex Asian (which is a PHOAT, same chemistry that came with the vehicle), or Peak 10x. The Peak is a slightly different chemistry but is truly universal with no 2-EHA.

Also, the Sedona is a great vehicle. Mine had 223k miles on it when I sold it. Engine and transmission still ran great. Feel free to PM me for maintenance advice. I put many miles on mine and did lots of repairs and PM on it as needed (although it was generally super reliable!).
