Honda does not sell a replacement sub-harness for the K24. But they do have one for the J35. I have never done a K24 knock sensor, but if the connector is the same, may be you can buy the V6 one ($12) and solder the wires into the existing connection?

Never mind, they are not even close. Clearly different.

I did, unless it was counterfeit or something. It looked right and was in Honda packaging.

I've been down this road with a OEM Nissan knock sensor from ebay. Many look legit but are counterfeit. If you're not sure which is counterfeit your best bet is buying from an authorized Honda dealer on ebay.

Alrighty I ordered a Beck Arnley from Amazon (fairly recent thread on Honda-Tech that indicated this as a reliable aftermarket part) along with a new connector just in case. Installed the sensor today and all seems well. Didn't install the connector as I wanted to isolate the problem, which does appear to have been the "OEM" ebay sensor. I'll contact the seller.
