Off my MIL’s Camry. I couldn’t believe it when I pulled it out. Did her engine air filter too. It wasn’t as bad. Yikes….
It was Toyota OEM. My wife doesn’t think it was ever changed out……car has 136K on it. She doesn’t drive much. Maybe 2,000 miles a year these days. 83 years old.Guesstimate how many miles that CAF had on it.
And she has asthma. So, yeah.136k miles!!??
Doh! Happy inhalation.
Significantly better.A/C performance then vs. now?
Replaced the engine air filter with a Fram. The cabin air filter with an EcoGard. You could've just blown on it and put it back in for another 20 years
no really though, that is nasty! What kind of filters did you replace them with?
She should switch to a carbon activated CAF and do an annual filter replacement so she can breath more freely. Aroung $15 @ Rockauto.Replaced the engine air filter with a Fram. The cabin air filter with an EcoGard.
Agree. That's what I use in my car and my wife's car. I will for the next change. She should switch to a carbon activated CAF and do an annual filter replacement so she can breath more freely. Aroung $15 @ Rockauto.
