2005 Toyota Echo, Mobil 1, Fram Ultra Synthetic oil filter, changed in December, about 2000km, almost all highway, almost all in the last couple months since i did not drive the car all winter.
Obviously this is not scientific at all but i was checking the oil level and was surprised it looks this clean. Ignore the bottom left, that was from the top of the dip stick.
Plan to get my first ever oil analysis done in September, hopefully up to 8000km by then.

It's clean because it doesn't even have 1500 miles on it. They way you drive, you can easily go 10,000 kilometers.

Which lab are you going to use for your analysis?
If they say Blackstone...instant permanent vacation. 🤣

Joking aside, its a low wearing warmed up engine & non GDI. It has all of the right ingredients to be cleaner. Some of the older cars didn't have an EGR (not sure which modern ones do either?). My 2002 Saturn L200 2.2L burned a quart every 2k but even within 2k miles stayed really clean. Probably the cleanest I've ever seen. Maybe that's why they live a long time. :)

Being in Canada my options are limited, i recently learned about wearcheck.

I will repeat this "test" after 8000km
I'm not sure why you'd be "surprised" after only 2000km (1250 mi). It's a PFI engine with highway miles. That's about as easy on oil as it can get.
In the past it would be darker than this in a fraction of the mileage in the same car.
I'm assuming just plain jane Mobil 1?
Mobil 1 synthetic, the standard one.
good oil filtration contributes greatly to clean running engine in relation to engine life & choosing the proper filter is a must.
Fram Ultra Synthetic. I am guessing that is the reason its this clean.
Also can't get anymore, have 7 extras.

Port injection for the win. By the time I stole my 09 Altima back from my daughter, who drives 130 miles roundtrip every day, she had 16K on some mobil1 truck and suv, 5w30. By the looks of the oil, it only had 5k, although I snapped a pic when I changed it and it was way past that. I set the oil minder to go off @10k, and she just ignored it, along with the low tire light. She's a female health. nurse practitioner by day, and an unpaid test pilot for all things that have 4 wheels any other time. If it moves when she gets done with a car, I recommend buying that model! Short of the demolition derby at the county fair, you couldn't possibly drive a vehicle harder than her, I promise. I tell everyone I know that a ride with her will change your life and give you a whole new outlook when your feet touch the ground
