2005 Chevy Uplander code C0035

The ABS light comes on intermittently and I just scanned it today and got code C0035 (left front wheel speed sensor circut). What exactly is the problem, any idea? and any idea how much to fix? Thanks!

It's either a bad left front wheel speed sensor, or a broken or exposed wire leading to the sensor.
If the sensor is the problem, you will want to change the whole hub and sensor assembly, about $300. If it is a wire repair, then it is a "time in" situation. Time to find and repair the wiring, probably 1 to 2 hours labor at the shop rate.

Ok...so what happens if we dont fix it???

Nothing, the light comes on and ABS won't work. Its like having non ABS brakes. Does it have tranction control? It will not operate either if the sensor is not working.

It could be a dirty or blocked sesnor. Happened on my WS6 cleaned it up with brake clean all is good.
