I bought the truck at 52K and have 77000. Have no idea when/if fluids were changed. I'm doing the works. Did ATF+4 in transmission.
The manual recommends GL 75w90 for the front Axle. Mopar Synthetic GL 75w140 with 4oz Mopar limited slip additive for the rear.
I want the best since it ain't something that'll get changed often. Any other recommendations appreciated.

I put Amsoil Severe Gear 75W140 in the rear end of a 2004 Dodge Ram 4.7L with 3.92LS. Didnt add any additive for the LS since the Amsoil has some in it but bought some just in case it started making noise. It never did. It was a 2WD truck, but I would probably put Severe Gear 75W90 in the front. Just my 2 cents.

ANY full synthetic in the required weights is fine. Only dose LSD additive if needed. Many gear oils already come pre-dosed with LSD additive.
