This truck had 8000 miles on it when i bought it a couple of months ago, I have the regular warranty on it and also got the extended warranty on it, any way the feller at Ford told me that a K&N air filter would void my warranty due to the oil in it, I also suppose that the Air Hog to be the same, any real good air filters to use out there or should I just stick with the Ford. If you have the 6.0 engine I would stick with the factory air cleaner. It is a Donaldson, and personally I think it is the best available right now. I updated my 01 to the AIS that uses the Donaldson filter.
My recommendation, leave it alone.
