2003 Explorer PCV Valve

This is my first post here, I have been reading the forum for a while and learned a ton about oil.

I can not find the PCV valve on my 2003 Explorer 4.0L
V6 dual fuel(k in the vin). I have the Haynes book and there is no valve where they say it should be.

Usually there's a decal under the hood with a vacuum line diagram. This should give a clue to where the pcv valve is.

That should be a SOHC 4.0. Many of them had a heated PCV valve on the passenger side of the intake manifold just behind the throttle body. There are a couple of different intakes though, the above is the one I've seen commonly.
