I chose this filter because it has a 15 micron rating iof like 98.7% or 99 which is great, and a lot of people use them on their 5.9s with great success.
The engine has 177k on the clock and does not burn oil, but there is a small drip of oil on the front end... but it still doesnt affect the motor.
I do plan on changing the pcv "filter" since it may be time for it even though that has little affect on oil but on another forum someone stated that this filter did affect their blowby somehow....
Anyways I will be also adjusting the valves and changing the valve gasket at the same time, and I will do this 10k oci with a full synthetic just for peace of mind.
