2002 4wd Tacoma 3.4 V6 5 speed
Oil changed up to 11k miles with Valvoline 5w30 and OEM or WIX filter. The every 5k-5500 miles with Mobil 1 5w30 and either oversized Toyota or Mobil 1 filter.
This sample was with oversized Toyota filter. First sample with oversized Mobil 1 filter.
Driving - Every third say 50 miles one way trip to work. Other two days occassional short (

QUESTIONS:
1 - What is making the insolubles go up?
2 - Why is the magnesium so high?
3 - Why is calcium so high?
4 - Lead, copper, iron and tin are down from last sample. Do you think it is the engine just breaking in still? Or should I go to dealer?
5- The silicon is high and I still have original OEM paper filter. I have no leaks that I can find. Going to change filter soon. ALSO, I have had Blackstone do analysis on FIVE vehicles in the past three years. ON EACH and EVERY one of them it has indicated high silicon. Vehicles - 2000 Ford Taurus, 2001 Ford F-150, 1994 Toyota truck, 1995 Toyota Corolla, and 2002 Toyota Tacoma. It is just funny to me that silicon is ALWAYS high.
