The 2002 Malibu I maintain hit a milestone this past weekend, 100,000 miles. Took some pictures of it to look back on later.

Congrats!, Thats a CLEAN malibu!...

... i see it has a low wash fluid light. Does it work? my last couple of cars had this dash light, but it was not an available option at the time for the car in the US?? More so Canada..

So far this one has been relatively trouble-free, fuel pump, lower intake manifold gasket got caught early with a UOA, and an ABS sensor. Third set of tires, original brakes and everything else not mentioned here.

It does work although the washers don't get used often. The car has some stone chips on the front bumper and a small area on the rear bumper where the paint has separated from the plastic but that's "fixed". Otherwise the paint is in great shape.

Sweeeeet milk it for all it's worth!

I just hit 140K on my Taurus. No payments for years......it's like that car commercial that shows coins flying out of the HVAC vents...

It's been a great long haul driver. Most of the last 40,000 miles have been going between Pittsburgh and Boston. We've been averaging 33-34 mpg on most of our trips recently with A/C and cruise at 70 mph.

Those Malibus and the last Grand Ams I thought were pretty decent cars. Certainly the best of the N-bodies.

You can be proud of the way you maintained it. That is a sweet car and it looks like someone really cared for it well. (That would be u... )

It's kind of a "whatever is on sale" car with 4-6k OCI's on conventional. It has Nextgen in it with a PureOne filter currently. I posted some pictures under the valve covers a few months ago after a mechanic incorrectly torqued one of the rocker arm bolts.

Very nice shape for a 2002 with 100k. Good job.

My 2002 Cavalier had about 160k on it when I got rid of it recently, and it didn't look nearly this good - but it led a hard life.
