2000 Toyota 1.8 oversize filter

Hi All,

I'm using the standard size SuperTech oil filter on a 2000 Toyota Corolla 1.8 (same size as the factory unit). Has anyone used an oversize Super Tech filter; if so which did you go with? I've heard rumors that the equiv to a PH3600 would work; just checking what others have used.

I had a 98 chevy prism (toyota corolla with a chevy badge) with the 1.8 and it called for a ST4967 IIRC, which is the same as the 2.2 in the 99 camry I now own. The PH3600 will not fit the 2.2, so I doubt it will fit the 1.8 either. The filter for the 2001-up toyota celica GTS will fit, but ST doesn't make one for that application.
