Not quite correct-the issue is the ethanol will absorb water from the atmosphere and the result MAY be carburetor corrosion and an inabilty of the fuel to carry 2 stroke oil. That's the reason for Tru Fuel and others being such big sellers, fortunately I'm getting Casey's General Store locations in my (northern) area now that have a good price on E0 premium, just the ticket for my 2 stroke OPE. Or, you could go my old way of draining out & running them dry with a little Stabil mixed in, and dumping in a car to get rid of it, getting new every time (a pain). There's a few threads here about 2 stroke oil, too, the good & bad, good not necessarily full synthetic (Mystik Sea & Snow JASO FD oil for example).
