2.0 TSI recommended oil for hot climates

Hello,

Here in Saudi Arabia (temp reaches 45 C easy in the summer) we only have these full synthetic Castrol oils

Castrol Edge 5W-40
Castrol Magnatec 5w30

which one shall i use?
I added one bottle (Edge) at 4000 km and almost another at 6000 km

I know Mobil 1 is good but I want to stick to Castrol for the warranty

your input is highly appreciated

What does the warranty have to do with Mobil 1 oils? Mobil 1 0w40 sounds like a good match.

FYI, Magnatec is not a full synthetic oil. Not that it matters. Use the one that meets the VW spec that your engine calls for.
