1999 grand caravan with the 3.3 engine randomly stops running

The van has the one piece integrated fuse relay box under the hood. Could this cause the issues that are happening? It has a circuit board inside. Has anyone ever taken one apart?
It’s possible, my Dodge Ram has a few soldered in which control blinkers and towing lights. There were other parts of the circuit board that had corrosion. I sent the fuse box to a professional to be rebuilt.

You might have luck at a you pull junkyard. I had no choice but to send mine off to lack of supply and high demand.

I believe these parts can be physically swapped but they have to be programmed to the vehicle, unless you find same year and trim. If you pull one from a yard, be prepared to take it to a dealer. And note, the dealer may refuse to code it. Seen it here. Need a shop that knows the electronics.

Do they though? The TIPMs in the 4th Gen Rams didn't need to be programmed. However, I realize we're not talking a TIPM-proper here.

This isn't actually a TIPM but probably somewhat similar. It is a fuse/relay box under the hood. It does have an enclosed circuit board but I think it is more for connecting the relays and fuses that are in the box. The Body Control Module and the PCM have to be a match when buying used because the have to communicate with each other and can't do so if they have a different VIN number from each other.
