I want to buy a water pump for a 1994 1.8L SOHC Protege, but i just can't be certain whether i am buying the correct part. A google search lists a number of water pumps that are supposedly compatible, but the photos of the aforementioned water pumps don't match.
Even the photos of water pumps by various manufacturers on rockauto.com don't look the same. I haven't seen a water pump for the protege before in-person, hence the confusion.
Anyone who has replaced the water pump on a 1994 Protege before, or anyone with the knowledge, help me out here?
