The motor is swapped, the shell has 255k on it, I was told the motor had somewhere around 150k on it by the P.O. but he wasn't sure, it burns almost no oil.

I picked up the car for 800 bucks because it ran rough and bucked/bogged under load, and the PO didn't have the $ or time to take this and his other 92 Integra project to Cali when he eventually moves.

I think I made out pretty well with how well it runs after I fixed the timing, I'm looking forward to plenty of miles out of my old school Honda.

I had the VC off to replace the cam bracket that also is the 3rd bolt hole for the cam it was stripped, and I tossed on my new spoon yellow powder coated VC and NGK wires.

(I forgot how to hot link images)

In the last sentence I meant the 3rd bolt that holds on the distributor and allows for adjustment, the edit time is expired

It's a shame the finish on the car doesn't look as minty as the bay...

Here's some more pics of the car

I have quite a bit of rust fixing to do around the windshield and quarters, but it is not a bad canvas for such an old car, I have even had someone ask if it is for sale when I'm pumping gas.

The only interior flaws are the rip in the seat which is super common on Da Integras and the crack in the trim where your foot would hit when u get in.

Someone cared a lot for this car at one point in time, the dash has been out and wired up to a custom alarm, large wires to all the speakers and stereo, ecu is relocated into the dash to avoid it getting wet by the notorious DA Integra wet floor, and they swapped a 93 front bumper on it, and the sunroof and rear wiper still work, but the fog lights and hazard switch don't do anything -.-

My DD is a 90 GS with 245000 miles on the clock. They are nice driving cars. I average 33 mpg out of it and can get close to 40 if I try really hard.

I had a 92 integra GS that I traded for my C30, it had 270k when traded.I love the C30 but miss my old integra

had it for 15 yrs. It had some rust around the wheel wells and trunk lid, also had a leak on the passenger side when it rained the pass side floor would get wet and the heater core was shot also the clearcoat on the roof was pealing. It used about 1QT of oil in 2K miles, I had many great times with that car over the years, I hope you enjoy yours for years to come. I just couldn't see putting the money (1K+)into a 20yr old car to fix everything so I traded it.

One thing that amazes me the in the 15 yrs 270k mi I had the car, I never had to replace things like the alternator, starter, fuel pump, power steering (pump, rack etc)

. I put a headman header and DC sports SS exhaust on back in 2000.A couple sets of brake pads/rotors and tires also a clutch around 190k thats about it.

I bought my 94 Integra 6 years ago for $300, the kid thought the block was cracked but it was just a bad water pump

it had 180k on it then and ran great but leaked/burned some oil so I swapped in a low mileage JDM B20 and she's still going strong, just over 297k on the clock now!

Yeah now I just need to put the other Energy Suspension motor mount inserts in so the motor doesn't move like crazy in town.
