Then maybe compare it to a new Black Wing …Today's kia
FWD ala Toronado was stout enough to haul around a motorhome.Nice! 1976 and Lap belts only? Maybe an exception because it is a convertible or the design was unchanged for ~8 years? Sure that thing isn't RWD? FWD doesn't seem right
Red's ok for that For Big Enus / Little Enus look but I agree with @skyactiv, needs to be in white a-la Boss Hogg

I believe it was the last year of the convertible as the Auto Manufacturers were afraid that convertibles would be outlawed due to the risk of fatalities during rollover crashes. This led top the t-tops of the late 70's early 80's. Many were bought and put away hoping for a windfall down the road which never planned out. Same with the 1978 Pace Car Corvettes a ton were put away with zero milesSuch low miles.
LOVE the rear view mirror mounted thermometer.
LOATHE the aftermarket steering wheel wrap.
APPRECIATE the "Monkeemobile" extended fender sides.
Even with 500 inches it's acceleration is measured with an hour glass. Low compression, retarded cam timing, very mellow cam profile, lazy mechanical advance along with a very fast set of differential gears.
