Does the resource conserving supplement matter that Toyota shows on the seal in the manual in discussion of 0w16? Mobil 1 just shows SN plus and Pennzoil Platinum shows SN Plus Resource conserving on their 0w16 flavors.

It does not matter

If it's 0w-16, it's Resource Conserving. If it's SN+, it's Resource Conserving. If it's GF-5, GF-6, it's resource Conserving. If it's DEX1 GEN2, it's Resource Conserving. The API Donut on the bottle will tell.

According to API the term "with resource conserving" is a bolt-on to SN and SN PLUS. Simply holding SN, SN PLUS or being 0W-16 does not automatically give official "resource conserving" status. To achieve the RC add-on the oil must pass Sequence VID or VIE fuel economy limits. There is no FE testing in regular SN/SN PLUS.
